Fossil Team 3

One of the most common questions that the Museum receives about their fossils is “What type of dinosaur is it?” Your job is to help answer this question for those who come to the Museum. Using the provided database, complete the following:

1. Record the fraction of each type of fossil found as compared to the total number of dinosaurs found. Then, convert that fraction into a decimal.

2. What patterns do you notice in the data? What part of the state are most of the dinosaur fossils found in? Why do you think that is?

3. Choose three dinosaurs from the database. Where would you be most likely to find each of those types of dinosaurs?

4. Create an infographic that showcases the information above.
